Can I get a payment holiday?
watch_laterUpdated 5 days ago
If you’re struggling to make your Zopa credit card payment because of a temporary change in your financial circumstances, you may be eligible for a payment holiday.
A payment holiday lets you postpone your minimum payment for one month. Your normal minimum payments will resume the following month.
Payment holidays are subject to eligibility criteria, so they won’t always be available.
What happens if I take a payment holiday?
You can continue using your credit card, but any new spending will increase your balance and could increase your next minimum payment.
Interest will continue to build up during your payment holiday, so your balance may increase and could take longer to pay off.
Your postponed minimum payment won’t be reported as missed or late to credit reference agencies. Normal credit reporting will continue after your payment holiday.
A payment holiday applies to one minimum payment only and can’t be extended.
Your normal minimum payments will continue after your payment holiday.
