Help us test the new Zopa app
FAQs
What do you want me to test?
We’d like you to open a free Biscuit bank account in the Zopa beta app and report any problems you spot.
This will help us check that everything’s working as expected before we roll the new app out to more customers.
What do I need to do?
To take part, you’ll need to:
Download the Zopa beta app on your iPhone – you'll be prompted to download the TestFlight app first.
Open a free Biscuit bank account by the deadline stated in your email invite.
Report any bugs or problems you spot in the app.
Move back to the standard Zopa app by downloading it from the App Store.
Your £30 reward will be paid into your Biscuit bank account within 1 week.
Please note that the TestFlight app is only available on Apple devices, so you’ll need an iPhone to take part in this test.
Will I still be able to access my money in the beta app?
Yes. The beta app is a fully functioning version of the Zopa app – the only thing that's different is the way it looks. Any accounts or money you already have with Zopa will be available in the beta app.
What is Biscuit?
Biscuit is Zopa’s free current account. There are no monthly fees, and you can apply in minutes through the app.
With Biscuit, you'll earn interest on your balance, get cashback on bills, and unlock access to a Regular Saver. You can find out more on our website.
How do I report a problem?
While applying for Biscuit: tap the ‘i’ icon in the top right corner.
After applying for Biscuit: use the ‘Report a problem’ link in your app profile.
Please only report a problem if something looks broken, fails to load, shows an error or doesn’t work as expected while you're opening a Biscuit bank account.
We’re not looking for general feedback, design suggestions or feature ideas as part of this testing.
Do I need to report a problem to get the £30 reward?
No. You’ll get the £30 reward for opening a free Biscuit bank account in the beta app regardless of whether you report a problem or not.
But if you do spot any bugs or problems while opening a Biscuit bank account, please report them in the app. That’s what will help us make sure everything’s working as it should be before we make the new app available to more customers.
When will I get the £30 reward?
We’ll pay the £30 reward into your Biscuit bank account within a week of you opening it in the beta app.
What if I’m not eligible to open Biscuit?
Not everyone will be eligible for a Biscuit bank account. If you can’t open one, you won’t qualify for the £30 reward.
I've opened Biscuit, and now the links in marketing emails aren't working. What should I do?
Once you’ve opened Biscuit, you’ll need to use the standard Zopa app rather than the Zopa beta app.
Download the standard Zopa app, then try opening the email link again. It should take you to the right place.
How do I move back to the standard Zopa app?
Once you've opened Biscuit, you’ll need to download the standard Zopa app from the App Store.
Your Biscuit bank account will be waiting for you there.
What happens to my Biscuit bank account after the test?
Your Biscuit bank account will stay open and you’ll be able to access it in the standard Zopa app.
When will the new app be available to everyone?
We’re planning to roll it out in the coming months. We’ll let customers know when it’s ready.
