What is Zap?

Zap speeds up the payment process by letting you move money between your accounts and to payees – without leaving the Zopa app. 

Want to move money from Monzo to your Zopa savings? Send money to a friend from your HSBC account? With Zap, you can do it all from the Zopa app. 

How it works 

1. Connect your accounts to Zap. You can do this by heading to the bottom of the Payments tab in the Zopa app.  

2. Once you’ve connected your accounts, you’ll be able to securely move money with just a tap – no need to authorise in other banking apps.  

3. We’ll pull the payment from your chosen account into your Zopa bank account and then straight onto the recipient (whether that’s one of your own accounts or a payee).  

4. Don’t worry – Zap is completely secure and we’ll never move money unless you ask us to.
