How much is my ISA allowance?
scheduleUpdated 9 days ago
The ISA allowance for 6 April 2025 to 5 April 2026 is £20,000. That’s the most you can pay into your ISAs within one tax year and doesn’t include the interest you earn. The allowance is smaller for lifetime ISAs (£4,000) and junior ISAs (£9,000). Junior ISAs don’t count as part of your £20,000 allowance, but lifetime ISAs do.
You can split your allowance across different types of ISA anyway you like, as long as you don’t go over the £20,000 limit. For example, you might pay £5,000 into a Cash ISA, £11,000 into a stocks and shares ISA, and £4,000 into a lifetime ISA.
