How does the referral programme work?

Refer a Friend lets selected Biscuit customers invite friends to Zopa. If your friend opens a Biscuit bank account using your unique link, you'll both get the reward paid into your Biscuit bank accounts.

Eligibility

The programme is rolling out gradually to existing customers. When it’s your turn, you'll see a Refer a Friend tile in your Zopa app Profile section (make sure you're on the latest version).

Your friend must be:

• 18+

• UK-based

• New to Zopa

Your friend must also open their account and meet any criteria within 30 days of entering their phone number via your link. If they close the account before the reward is paid, they won't get it.

Sharing your link

Share your link from the Refer a Friend tile any way you like. Your friend must tap it and enter their phone number before downloading the app, or the referral won't count.

Check your Refer a Friend dashboard in the app for any promotion end date.

You can refer the number of friends up to the limit shown in your app.

Rewards

You and your friend will be paid within 30 days of your friend opening their account and meeting any criteria.  Track the status and amount anytime on your Refer a Friend dashboard – it updates in real time.

Troubleshooting

• Referral shows "Not eligible": either your friend opened their account more than 30 days after entering their number via your link, or you've hit your reward cap – both are shown against the referral on your Refer a Friend dashboard.

• No Refer a Friend tile: you've most likely reached your maximum number of rewards, or the programme hasn’t opened to you yet.

• Reward hasn't landed yet: rewards are paid within 30 days of meeting all criteria – not referral date – so check the Referral Completed date on your Refer a Friend dashboard.
