Zopa Account Refer a Friend Scheme Terms


Zopa has launched a Zopa Account Refer a Friend Scheme (the “Scheme”) where, as an existing Zopa customer, you can share your unique referral link (the “Link”) with your friends, inviting them to tap on the Link, input their mobile numbers (same as the ones for the account opening), download the Zopa app and open a new Zopa account (the “Referral”). You and each of your friends will receive a reward of £10 (the “Reward”) into your Zopa accounts if you both comply with the below terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

Who are these terms between?

You: An existing Zopa account customer (the “Referrer”) or a potential new Zopa customer (the “Referee”) who has been referred by a Referrer via this Scheme.

Us: Zopa Bank Limited, referred to as ‘Zopa’ or ‘we’.

Part 1: Terms for the Referrer/s

The following terms apply between Zopa and Referrer/s:

  1. You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over with an active Zopa account (the “Account”).

  2. Your Referee/s must be eligible to join Zopa and must not currently have any other Zopa products or be past Zopa customers.

  3. You must share your Link with your Referee/s on or before 11 July 2025. You can find the Link under your “Profile” in the Zopa app.

  4. Each of your Referee/s has 30 days to complete the Referral after receiving your Link, but must apply for and open a Zopa account on or before 11 July 2025. If the Referral is not completed within this period, neither of you will receive the Reward.

  5. Once the Referral is complete, you and your Referee will both receive the Reward in your Accounts within 30 days. If your Referee uses the Links from multiple Referrers before completing the Referral, the Reward will only be given to the Referrer who sent the last Link used by the Referee.

  6. You are entitled to earn up to 20 Rewards, with a total of £200 from the Scheme.

  7. You must not use your Link for any paid promotion or online advertising.

  8. You cannot exchange the Reward for an alternative reward, and we reserve the right to replace this Reward with something else at any time.

  9. If you close your Account on or before 11 July 2025, your Link will no longer be valid. If you close your Account before receiving the Reward, you will no longer be entitled to receive the Reward.

Part 2: Terms for the Referee/s

The following terms apply between Zopa and the Referee/s:

  1. You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over who has not used the Zopa app or ever had any previous Zopa products.

  2. You must not be employed by Zopa.

  3. After receiving the Link from a Referrer, you need to tap on the Link, provide your mobile number and complete the Referral within 30 days (and no later than 11 July 2025). If the Referral is not completed within this period, neither of you will receive the Reward.

  4. Once the Referral is complete, you and your Referrer will both receive the Reward in your Accounts within 30 days. If you use the Links from multiple Referrers before completing the Referral, the Reward will only be given to the Referrer who sent the last Link used by you.

  5. You are entitled to earn the Reward once only from the Scheme. If your Referrer reached the maximum Reward of £200, you will not be entitled to earn the Reward.

  6. You cannot exchange the Reward for an alternative reward, and we reserve the right to replace this Reward with something else at any time.

  7. If you close your Account before receiving the Reward, you and your Referrer will no longer be entitled to receive the Reward.

Part 3: Making changes to this Scheme

We reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate this Scheme at any time.

  2. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the English courts will deal with any legal proceedings arising in connection with these terms or your account.
