Your eligible deposits, meaning the money you hold with Zopa, are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), the UK's deposit guarantee scheme. Any money you hold above this limit is unlikely to be covered.

The Smart Savings Hub is your one-stop shop for app-based savings at Zopa. It lets you keep track of your Smart Saver and Smart ISA pots in one place.

You’ll find your Smart Savings Hub on the Zopa app home page. Just to let you know, our Fixed Term Savings accounts are currently available through the Zopa website only, so you won’t see them in your Smart Savings Hub.

Within your Smart Savings Hub, you’ll be able to apply for a Smart Saver account, where you can open Access anytime and Boosted interest pots. Once you’ve opened a Smart Saver account, you’ll also be able to open a Smart ISA. Find out how to do this here.

You’ll need to open a Smart Saver account with us before you can apply for a Smart ISA. To do this, simply download the Zopa app and head to your Smart Savings Hub, which you’ll find on the home page. From there, you’ll be able to apply for a Smart Saver account. Once that’s set up, you’ll see the option to Open a Smart ISA at the bottom of your Smart Savings Hub. Follow the instructions on your screen to do this.

A lot of ISA providers penalise you for withdrawing by limiting the number of withdrawals you can make or reducing your interest rate if you withdraw. At Zopa, we give you the flexibility to withdraw from our Access ISA pots as many times as you like, penalty-free!

Plus, our Access ISA pots are flexible. This means you can withdraw money (including money saved in previous tax years) and put it back within the same tax year without eating into your £20,000 ISA allowance.

We also offer fixed term savings, where you can lock your money away for 1 to 5 years and get a fixed interest rate throughout. But they’re not in the Smart Savings Hub just yet, only online.
