What happens when my account is put on hold?

If you’re not sure what option is best for you or need more time review your finances, we could place your account on a short hold.

During your hold, we won’t contact you asking for payment, giving you the space you may need to seek debt advice or use this budgeting tool to see what’s affordable for you.

Important things to note:

  • We’ll need to report any missed payments during your hold to credit reference agencies
  • The hold will be applied to all the Zopa credit products you have
