What happens if my Direct Debit doesn’t go through?

If we’re unable to take your Direct Debit amount on your repayment date, we’ll send you an email to make you aware and try again in 7 days. If things go through the second time around, we don’t report a missed payment to the credit reference agencies.

The re-try happens automatically, so there’s no need to get in touch with us unless you’re worried the second attempt won’t be successful or your situation has changed.

If you do want to talk, please contact us within two days of your normal repayment date.
