Can I withdraw interest each month as income?
Updated 1 year ago
When you can withdraw interest on your savings:
- If you have a Smart Saver account and the interest earned has been paid into an Access pot.
- If you have a Fixed Term Savings account that has reached maturity and your savings are now in a holding account still earning interest.
When you can’t withdraw interest on your savings:
- If you have a Smart Saver and the interest earned has been paid into a Boosted pot. First you need to give notice in order to be able to withdraw your interest or savings.
- If you have a Fixed Term Savings account and you have not reached the end of your term. In this case, you'll be earning interest on your interest but will only be able to withdraw these savings at the end of the fixed term.
