How to enter
If you're already signed in to your account, you need to go to My Zopa and refer a friend under the ‘Tell a Friend' scheme. As long as they join Zopa before 30th November 2006 and go on to lend or borrow, you'll get an entry into the draw.
If you're not signed in, you'll need to do that before you can start referring people.
Every member who has already successfully referred a lender or borrower to Zopa under the ‘Tell a Friend' scheme will automatically get an entry into the draw.
But don't worry if you're not a Zopa member yet...
...because it's not too late to get your name in the hat. Simply sign up for Zopa as a lender or a borrower. Then go to My Zopa and enter the details of any friends who you think would be interested in Zopa.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone that has referred a friend to Zopa via the on-site referral methods ‘Recommend a Friend' or ‘Affiliate' who has gone on to register as a member, or does so before the closing date (30th November 2006) will be eligible for one entry into the prize draw.
The prize draw will be closed on Friday 30th November at 11.59pm (“the Closing Date”). Referred parties must be registered as members by the closing date. Winners will be drawn and announced, and the prizes fulfilled, within 28 days after the Closing Date. There will be only one draw, and one winner, per prize. The prize draw will be made in the presence of an independent observer. The observer's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be informed via email, and a list of winners' names and the county in which they reside will be made available on the Zopa Blog.
There is no alternative to the prizes in the prize draw, and they cannot be transferred. Winners may be required to take part in publicity arising from this promotion. Terms & Conditions for Tell a Friend scheme
Offer applies to all ‘Introduce a Friend' recommendations made between 01.06.06 and 31.12.06 inclusive. Only registered Zopa members are elgible to ‘Introduce a Friend'. Existing Zopa members who introduce a friend to Zopa will receive £30 when the friend either successfully lends £300 or successfully borrows money at Zopa during this period. £30 is payable for each friend introduced, provided that the friend is introduced as described above. The introduced friend will also receive £30 only once they have successfully lent money or successfully borrowed. If the same person is introduced by more than one Zopa member, then only the first person to nominate that individual will be eligible for the £30. You can not nominate yourself or an existing member. In all cases, the £30 will be paid within 28 days of first transaction (lending or borrowing). Lenders will have the £30 deposited into their Zopa accounts, borrowers will receive £30 via direct BACS payment to the bank account they have registered with Zopa. If you have not yet completed the Zopa registration process you will need to complete this in order to receive your £30 reward. As part of this offer, you warrant and undertake you have the consent of your friend(s) to disclose their personal details.
